ROTATIONAL FEATURES. CENTRELINE CONTROL.

Custom CNC Turning
Services

Plan diameters, bores, threads and grooves around the functional axis.

Our CNC turning service is suited to shafts, bushings, fittings, connector bodies and other rotational components. We review outside diameters, bores, threads, grooves, shoulders and datum faces together so the machining route supports the relationships that matter in the assembly. The stated turning envelope is up to Ø700 × 1000 mm; actual feasibility depends on material, wall condition, fixturing and drawing requirements.

MATERIAL OPTIONS

Choose the Right
Material for Your Part.

For turned parts, material choice is reviewed against functional diameters, bores, threads, grooves, shaft or bushing duty, wear or corrosion needs, and the surfaces that must remain suitable for mating or sealing.

SURFACE FINISHES

The Finish That
Fits Your Application.

Identify functional diameters, bearing or sealing seats, threads and sliding surfaces before selecting a finish. Cosmetic surfaces, masking and downstream assembly needs should be separated from surfaces that must remain as machined.

01

As Machined

A precise, cost-effective finish straight from the CNC process for functional features and tight tolerances.

03

Sandblasting

Creates a uniform matte texture and can reduce visible machining marks on suitable parts.

BUILT FOR DEMANDING PROJECTS

Turning Inputs That
Control the Route

The review begins with the part’s functional centreline and the callouts that determine turning, live-tooling and inspection planning.

01

Centreline Datum

Identify the functional axis, datum faces and relationships between diameters, bores and shoulders.

02

Feature Callouts

Provide diameter, bore, thread, groove and surface-finish requirements on the drawing.

03

Live-Tooling Review

Cross holes, flats and milled interfaces are reviewed to determine whether they can be planned with turning operations.

04

Inspection Requirements

State any runout or concentricity requirement so the inspection method can be agreed for the project.

05

Documentation

Dimensional, CMM, FAI and material documentation can be planned when specified.

A CLEARER PATH TO YOUR PARTS

From Drawing to Delivery

The turning plan relates rotational features to the functional centreline, then reviews whether live tooling can avoid unnecessary handling for cross holes or milled interfaces.

01

Send Drawings

Provide 2D/3D drawings with material, quantity, diameter, bore, thread, groove, tolerance, finish and inspection requirements.

02

DFM Review

Review the functional centreline, datum faces, thread and groove details, surface requirements and any runout or concentricity callout.

03

CNC Turning

Turning and, where useful, live-tooling operations are planned around diameters, bores, threads, grooves, datum faces and the part’s functional centreline.

04

Quality Inspection

Drawing-defined checks for diameters, bores, threads and agreed rotational-feature requirements.

05

Delivery Planning

Production and shipment planning based on the agreed schedule, approved drawing and shipping terms.
